Purrlight Electrics was founded by Rambo, whose journey to becoming an electrician began somewhere quite different – in the cockpit.

Rambo started his career in China as a commercial pilot before leaving aviation and moving to Australia to build a life with his partner. When he chose a new career as an electrician, he brought many of his old flying habits with him: arriving on time, planning carefully, following clear procedures and never compromising on safety. To Rambo, doing a job properly means taking responsibility for every detail and following through on what he promises.

With a healthcare professional in the family, Rambo sees firsthand what long shifts, changing rosters and caring for others can take out of you. He knows that on your precious days off, the last thing you need is more stress trying to fit an electrician into standard business hours.

That’s why we’re happy to work around your schedule wherever we can, with appointments available in the evenings, on weekends and even on public holidays. For pre-arranged work, there’s no extra charge just because the appointment is outside normal business hours – because a little understanding can make life that much easier.
